«Ростелеком» осуществил свое первое приобретение за пределами России, купив армянского магистрального оператора GNC-Alfa за $22,5 млн. На этом рынке «Ростелекому» предстоит конкурировать с МТС и Vimpelcom.

“Ростелеком» сообщил о приобретении 75% минус одной акции армянского магистрального интернет-оператора GNC-Alfa. Сумма сделки составила $22,5 млн (682 млн руб). Гендиректор GNC-Alfa Айк Фарамузян подтвердил CNews данную информации. Акции компании, по его словам, продали частные инвесторы, которые остаются владельцами 25% плюс одной акции.

GNC-Alfa обладает магистральной сетью передачи данных протяженностью 1,5 тыс. км., которая охватывает 70% территории Армении. Также оператор имеет стыки с сетями Грузии и Ирана. В прошлом году выручка GNC-Alfa составила $12 млн, рентабельность по показателю EBITDA — 48%. Чистый долг компании составляет $1 млн.

Данная сделка стала первой для «Ростелекома» покупкой за пределами России, отмечает президент компании Александр Провоторов. Ранее «Ростелеком» интересовался телекоммуникационными операторами в Грузии, Киргизии и той же Армении, но безуспешно.

В этом году GNC-Alfa собирается выйти на рынок широкополосного доступа в интернет и цифрового телевидения для конечных пользователей. По словам Провоторова, у телекоммуникационного рынка Армении есть большие перспективы, а имеющаяся у GNC-Alfa магистральная сеть станет опорой для выхода на массовый сегмент.

Фарамузян говорит, что у GNC-Alfa вторая по величине магистральная сеть в республике после монополиста фиксированной телефонной связи «Арментел», приобретенного в 2006 г. Vimpelcom (тогда в переговорах о покупке этой компании участвовал также и «Ростелеком»). Также в Армении работает МТС через сотового оператора «К-Телеком» (торговая марка Vivacell-MTS) и оператора фиксированной связи «Корнет-АМ», который достался МТС после объединения с «Комстар-ОТС». Представители МТС и Vimpelcom отметили, что их устраивает величина имеющихся в Армении магистральных каналов связи.
